Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America is the U.S. subsidiary of Allianz SE, a German multinational financial services company. The U.S. operation, originally founded as the North American Life and Casualty Company, became part of Allianz Group in 1979. Allianz Life is one of the largest sellers of fixed indexed annuities in the United States.

Product lines
The product line centers on fixed indexed annuities with proprietary index options and lifetime income riders. Allianz also offers indexed variable annuities (registered index-linked annuities) that combine subaccount-style market participation with downside buffers or floors.
